Exactly one year ago, we have a material on the site "Abandoned estates in Belarus", and today we are publishing the second part of interesting ruined and neglected family estates. Once upon a time they amazed with their architectural forms, and today they cause only sad sighs, but still attract the attention of tourists.
Rdultovsky Palace
And let's start with the manor-palace, located in Minsk region in the town dreams.
Laid back at the start 19th century, this architectural monument, whose length is about 140 meters, has been well preserved to this day, although it is not in operation now.
Of course, there is a good reason for this - in the early 2000s, the estate Rdultovsky was on the balance sheet of the military and the KGB, which saved the park area and the building itself from destruction.
The main entrance and the entrance from the side of the park are identical, interconnected by a vestibule. Numerous rooms, bas-relief columns and high stuccoed windows are combined with the simplicity of the decoration of the rooms.
The park deserves special attention.
A couple of kilometers from the palace, another old manor from our list has been preserved.
The estate of the Gartings “Mountain Dreams”
Manor house of the Harting family significantly inferior the Rdultovsky Palace in size, but not in location. Homestead of the Garthing family was built in the early 19th century.
The building is located on a hill next to Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian.
Not so long ago, a hospital was located on the territory of the manor house. But today the building is abandoned.
Next stop is the village Polonechka in the Brest region.
Manor of the Radziwills
Palace-Estate the most famous and richest family since the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the small village of Polonechka was built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Now the building is in a deplorable state and is waiting for reconstruction.
Manor House consists of two floors. One-story outbuildings adjoin it on each side. The internal layout of the palace has completely changed: the main hall with the vestibule and stairs have not been preserved (there was a fire here). And in the 20th century the estate was converted into a boarding school.

Manor of the Radziwills in the village of Zhirmuny
Another estate of a well-known family, but already to the west is located in the town Zhirmuny.
The building itself manor house not preserved. From a partially surviving one: entrance gate, left wing and column from the chapel of St. John the Baptist. The rest is heaps of stones of different suits.
Gorvatt's estate in Narovlya
In the Gomel region you can see an abandoned the estate of the Gorvatt familybuilt in the middle of the 19th century.
In addition to the manor house, reminiscent of a real palace, Narovlyansky park - a monument of gardening art, spread over an area of 8 hectares.
Like many similar places in Belarus, the Gorvattov estate is waiting for its reconstruction.
Chapsky's estate in Stankovo

Although the manor house has not survived to this day, as well as the family chapel-tomb of Czapski, but another architectural monument remained - library “Skarbets”resembling a small palace or gathering.
Outbuildings that are still in use today have been preserved in the park.
