Not far from the village of Gorodok, Molodechno district, you can see water mill ruins, which is often called “Kalinowski’s Mill”. The building is unfortunately very neglected, but is located in a picturesque location on the banks of the Western Berezina River. Built in the second half of the 19th century, probably in 1875, when these lands belonged to representatives of the Korsakov family who had their own estate in Petrovshchina.
The mill is made of large rubble stone and brick and has an area of about 100 square meters. Interestingly, the building was used until the end of the 70s for its intended purpose.
Several years ago, the mill was put up for sale (the object is not a historical heritage), but a buyer was never found, during which time the roof collapsed.
Below is a point with a mark on the map where the ruins of the mill are located.
Not far from Petrovshchina you can see the ruins Church of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary in Dubrovo.
