Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian (also in some sources Saints Cosmas and Demyan) in the agricultural town of Snov begins its history in 1769 year. Exactly then Yang Kryshtof Rdultovsky, the then owner of this place, decided to build a wooden chapel in honor of Saints Peter and Paul.
The original version of the temple had one dome on the pediment. But in 1830s the chapel burned down, and in its place a brick church was erected in honor of Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian.
It is noteworthy that the temple is located on a mountain in an old churchyard. It can be attributed to late classic style.
This is evidenced by its rectangular shape, trihedral asp, low two-tier belfry tower.
The main entrance is a two-tier vestibule with a three-span arch-entrance.
Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian was not damaged during military conflicts and never closed, always remaining a functioning temple.
