One of the most remarkable and interesting estates in the Lyakhovichi region is located in a small village Soveiki. Here is a large scale manor Novitsky, a number of outbuildings, a brovar, a park, as well as interesting sculptures from the Soviet period.
The history of the Novitsky estate
One of the owners of these lands was Leonty Bennigsen, a professional military man who rarely visited these parts. But despite this, there are suggestions that it was under him that the construction of the manor house began. Whether this is so is not known for sure. As a result of the sale farmstead in Soveiki passes to Krishtof Nezabytovsky, who gave these possessions as a dowry to his daughter Valeria, who became the wife of Konstantin Rdultovsky in 1835. True, Konstantin was distinguished by wastefulness and by the 50s of the 19th century he was completely ruined, and he sold the estate Hector Nowicki. It is with the name of Novitsky that the fate of the estate in Soveiki will be connected until 1939.
Homestead in the village of Soveiki refers to the style of classicism. The house is one-story, the central part is two-story with a spacious balcony and a main entrance where a carriage could drive. On the reverse side are decorative stairs leading to the terrace of the first floor.
Sculptures in Soveiki
Everyone who has been on the territory of the Novitsky estate paid attention to the colorful sculptures in Soveiki. And if the monument to Lenin looks out of place, then the rest of the figures should be considered more carefully. They appeared at the turn of the 1950s and 60s, during the period when there was a sanatorium here.
Bison located to the left of the estate.
Deer - not far from the two-story building of the waiters.
Bears met right on the alley.

Soveiki brovar and other outbuildings
On the territory of the estate complex Soveiki well preserved brovar 1901, the date of construction is laid out on the facade of the building. You can also see the initials here. Theophilus Novitskywho owned these lands at that time.
The building was used as a pharmacy, barn, housing and even a candle factory. The length of the brovar along the facade is 44 meters, the width is about 18 meters. In 2012 and 2013, they tried to sell the brovar, both as part of the estate and as a separate building. Most likely a buyer was not found.
Near the manor house you can see a two-story building - an outbuilding. Of all the buildings, its condition is the worst - this is due to the fact that the ceiling collapsed.
Throughout the estate complex, you can see dozens of interesting elements, for example, such a vase is installed in front of the outbuilding. It probably belongs to the Soviet period, but it looks beautiful even now.
It is best not to enter the building.
The next building often attracts attention no less than the Novitsky estate itself.
This residential building is made in the Neo-Gothic style, from the same materials as the brovar. Used for housing.
Soveiki in Soviet times and now
And finally, let's get back to manor house in Soveiki and its history in the post-war period. At the end of the war, the estate appeared in ruins, but the estate was restored in 1950. Here, in turn, were placed: a military hospital, a camp, and later a sanatorium.
From the other side, the estate also looked grand. There is a figure “1959” on the facade, which is probably the date when the sanatorium began to work.
Today, destiny estates in Soveiki ambiguous. More than once, these places have been put up for auction and even sold, but no one has yet thought of carrying out any restoration work. On the other hand, there is a security guard on the territory, cleaning is clearly being carried out and most of the buildings are mothballed. Only time will tell what awaits the Novitsky estate.
