Beshenkovichi - an old town of Belarus with a rich history and a list of interesting sights. In addition, there is also a rather rare engineering object - pontoon bridgewhich replaced the ferry.
This bridge serves as a crossing to the other side of the Western Dvina, where part of the Beshenkovichi is still located. On the other side, there once stood a wooden St. Nicholas Church and partly “tete-de-pont” - earthen military fortifications from the time of 1812.
The pontoon bridge is located on the H3951 road, it is a few minutes drive from the center of the urban village, below is the point with the location on the map:
In Beshenkovichi it is also worth seeing the former Khreptovichi estate. Two more interesting tourist sites in the area - ruins of a church in the village of Slobodka и Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Svecha.
