There is a rather interesting village in the north of the Brest region Silent. In written sources, the settlement was mentioned as early as the 15th century, so the history of the place is quite ancient. At the entrance to the village, pay attention to a large cemetery divided by a road; small Orthodox chapel.
Little is known about this chapel. Probably built in the late 19th century. It is square in shape, cut through from all sides by arched windows-entrances, and ends with a hipped dome with an Orthodox onion.
In addition to this chapel, pay attention to the Old Slavic cemetery. Although it looks neglected, it has its own special atmosphere.
In the center of Molchadi is the main Orthodox church of the village - Peter and Paul Church.
The cemetery with a chapel is located on Sovetskaya street, almost immediately at the exit from the P108 highway, below the mark on the map:
If you are in the area, I recommend visiting Palacewhere you can see beautiful neo-baroque church.
