Abandoned Bristol Hotel
This building belonged at the end of the XNUMXth century Lazar Bregman, one of the influential people in the city of Pinsk. Here we cannot give the exact age of the building and years of construction. The plaque on the building says that the now abandoned Bristol Hotel is a historical and cultural value on the fork of the XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries. What happened between them?
There is little information, and all of them belong to the Soviet period: until 1927, the office of the radiologist Dr. Dmitry Evseenko was located here; after the liberation in 1944 from the Nazis - the headquarters of the Dnieper military flotilla, as evidenced by memorial plaques on the building today; until 1992 - here the military hospital of the training detachment of the USSR Navy, 1995-2004 the building was used as an oncological dispensary.
In 2004 it was put up for auction and has been empty ever since. Of course, ten years of inactivity added a gloomy aura to this place - a fire on the 1st floor, which did not affect the 2nd floor and roof.
The latter, I must say, is in good condition, as evidenced by the photo of the roof space.
The fact that such a property is abandoned is striking - an attractive position in the historical center of the city, opposite the beautiful embankment with a picturesque view of the Pina river basin.
A very tempting object, but there is one fact that does not contribute to the return of its original status - the proximity of the Pripyat Hotel.
