On the penultimate weekend of July, the annual festival of medieval culture took place.Our Grunwald 2023″, for a minute already for the 14th time. In addition to the traditional and perhaps the main spectacle of the festival - the reconstruction of an episode of one of the largest battles in Europe, the audience was expected by the concert "Feast after the Battle", a fire show, many themed areas and entertainment. And of course, immersion in a medieval atmosphere with knightly battles, equestrian tournaments, buhurts, music and food. Having time to watch the entire planned program is an almost impossible mission, or at least very difficult. Therefore, the Grunwald Fest lasts 2 days, in this photo report there are pictures from the first one.
In the afternoon, an uninvited guest in the form of rain looked into Dudutki, apparently he did not particularly bother the audience, and the participants, perhaps, were only glad to see him.
The reconstruction of the Battle of Grunwald took place without deviations from the scenario, and the result remained the same as in the real battle 600 years ago. The Allied army (GDL and the Kingdom of Poland) defeated the army of the Teutonic Order.
At the end of the main block (tournaments and reconstruction), the audience was expected by imprezas from dance groups and a bright fire show.
And the first day of the festival ended with the performance of musical groups: Stokes, Voka Charota, KAS, Nevrida, Tribe, Rokash, Sailor Pigs and, of course, Ivan Kirchuk.
