Thestrals are invisible to most people, their appearance is known only to those who have known death. It is a black skeletal horse with a dragon-like muzzle and leathery membranous wings. These animals are carnivores, they are attracted by the smell of fresh blood. They are wayward and wild, but not aggressive. Thestrals are highly intelligent, and once tamed, they become dedicated ferrymen, as they can travel vast distances quickly and silently.
Mumakil (series "Lord of the Rings")
A huge animal, something between an elephant and a mammoth, according to various descriptions, the size of a house or a small hill. The people of Gondor used mumakil as pack animals, but they were also indispensable in wars. They carried tower-like structures where archers hid, and had very thick skin that made them invulnerable to all types of attacks. You can only kill this animal with an exact hit in the eye. This creature was known to the Hobbits as the "olifant".
Flying Bison (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
A massive ten-ton creature with shaggy white fur, a wide flat tail, six legs and a pair of horns. Despite the external menacing, flying bison are friendly creatures, moreover, they are so smart that they understand human speech. At a young age, the Airbender chose a bison for himself, who was to become his constant companion.
Flying bison are the first airbenders. According to legend, watching them, people learned to control the air element. As a reminder of this, magicians make themselves tattoos all over their bodies, reminiscent of a strip of dark fur on a bison, which begins at the tail and ends at the head with an arrow.
Appa is the most famous member of this species, friend and guardian beast of Aang's avatar.
Singing Hub (Max Fry universe)
A touching furry creature resembling a spider, but much more "cute" and pleasant.
Hubs quickly and strongly become attached to people and those who are especially dear to them. They purr very musically, and on special occasions they even sing in a way that even the most talented artist cannot. Hubs love to sit on the wearer's shoulder. They can be completely motionless, at such moments they can be mistaken for an unusual decoration.
Multi Bear ("Gravity Falls")
Another creature on the face of a terrible, kind inside. More precisely, for all 11 persons. The multi-bear is made up of the fused bodies of brown bears and has 4 arms, 4 legs and 11 heads. But at the same time, only one of them is reasonable, the rest are great for wearing hats.
