Manor Kostrovitsky Big Novoselki
Big Novoselki is a village in the Minsk region, located at a distance of 7 kilometers from Dzerzhinsk. The most notable part of it is manor Kostrovitsky and a number of various outbuildings of the former estate. The manor house, with pronounced features of classicism, was founded at the turn of 1820, probably on the site of its predecessor, since these lands belonged to the Kostrivtsyks since the 17th century.
Today, the district hospital is located on the territory of the estate complex. Probably, the former estate was “ennobled” with siding to give it a more serious and official look, from which you can’t immediately make out the historical heritage. Of more interest are the ruins, to the right of the park.
In many sources, this building in Bolshie Novoselki is indicated as a stable, less often as a barn or barn. It was built at the end of the 19th century of red brick, two-story, with a wooden roof (not preserved). It is not inferior to the estate itself in size, but clearly surpasses it in architectural form.
It is clearly seen that a huge crack has gone along one of the walls.
Let's return to the estate of the noble Kostrovitsky family. If the house itself disappointed a little, then the park looks nicer, the spirit of antiquity has been preserved in it. A gate has been preserved at the entrance.
On the territory of the hospital there is another notable object - a pharmacy in an old residential building.
Near these places you can see ruins of the Starinki churchand also beautiful church in Rubezhevichi. More Attractionsand interesting excursions in Belarus.
