Timkovichi is an agricultural town close to Kopyl, which at one time belonged to well-known gentry families: Olelkovichs, Khodkevichs, Sapiehas, Polubinskys and Radziwills. From the latter, even some manor buildings and brovar. There are also several interesting historical sites in the village, one of which is an old gate-bell tower of 1860.

Brama and a small chapel miraculously managed to survive in the Soviet times, which were difficult for the Timkoviches. In February 1930, a local priest Peter Grudinsky. The Nicholas Church (the same age as the brama) was then given to the needs of the fire brigade, although the temple was soon destroyed, leaving only the bell tower, which was used as a tower.

In the old place, already in the 2000s, a new stone church was built, consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas.

In Timkovichi there was also a wooden bosomwhose fate was sad. Temple Saint Michael the Archangel dated 1647, but burned down in 1985, rumored to be due to faulty electrical wiring. Today you can see only the place where this temple stood.

The foundation of the church in Timkovichi

All sights of Timkovichi are located in the central part of the village. It's easier to start from the gate and move to the place where the church stood along the main street.
