Old Roads is a city since 1938, but the settlements on these lands are known long before the official status. So even during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, in the first half of the 16th century, the town of Dorogi was mentioned. At that time, these lands were owned by a noble family Golshansky, from which the future city got a coat of arms - kitovras (a centaur with a bow and a snake's tail). Unfortunately, Old Roads can hardly be called an interesting tourist center. Of course stands out bright private museum of Anatoly Bely - a real storehouse of artifacts on history and culture Belarus. In the city center there is a monument of industrial architecture - water tower early 20th century.

The design of the tower, although it looks unusual, with modernist touches, is typical for water-filled buildings. The tower is made of red brick, located near the railway station.

In the neighborhood of the tower can be seen immediately 2 churches. The small wooden one is a mid-20th century building. At that time, there was no church in the Old Roads and services were held in the priest's house, which was slightly rebuilt, adding a vestibule and a belfry.

In 2006, they began to build a stone church, which was solemnly opened in 2019, consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
