Brick attracts attention clock tower, restored in 2017 in the likeness of the chapel that stood on this site at the beginning of the 20th century.

In an old pre-war photograph taken with Church of St. Teresa, you can clearly see the area and ordinary buildings. Behind the clock tower you can see shopping arcades, which unfortunately have not survived.
Things are better with the ordinary buildings of Shchuchin, which have been preserved in spots along the perimeter of the central square. Brick buildings from the late 19th to the first half of the 20th century house various shops, administrations, and the Uyut Hotel.

The history of Shchuchin is connected with the surname of the Drutsky-Lyubetsky, who contributed to the construction of the church and the development of the city; also from an ancient family it has survived to this day classical architecture palace.
