Did you know that the kingfisher takes care of the female in a very interesting way: he presents her with a caught fish, and if the gift is accepted, the birds become a couple. Sign up for a lecture with a cool expert and learn a lot of interesting facts about the life of "blue" birds.

Here are just a few of the questions you can get answers from an ornithologist:

  • Is the blue kingfisher what it seems? (Spoiler alert - no, it's a completely different color!)
  • What part of the body serves as a shovel for a kingfisher?
  • How to help a kingfisher nest?
  • Why do kingfishers have white cheeks?
  • Can a kingfisher drown?

The lecture will be held Vitaly Koshcheev. He comes from Novolukoml, Vitebsk region, one of the oldest members of the public organization APB. In 1999 he graduated with honors from the Biological Faculty of the Voronezh State University. P.
