Alania is one of the most popular tourist cities in Turkey. It is in this region that thousands of package and independent tourists from all over the world go. And one of the reasons why is, of course, Mediterranean with great beaches.
Alania stretched for several kilometers along the coast, so dozens of different beaches were formed here. Since the distance between them is impressive, it is worth choosing in advance for yourself main parking lot. To make it easier, in this article I will describe the main and most interesting beaches of Alanya.
Cleopatra beach
You should start from one of the best beaches of the entire coast - Cleopatra. The beach is large and divided into dozens of small ones, which are numbered and belong to hotels. However, no one will bother you to visit absolutely any. Entrance is free everywhere, only sunbeds and umbrellas are paid.
Beaches numbered 12-17
The central beach of Alanya, which is part of Cleopatra. It is in this part of the city that it is most convenient to choose a hotel. There is a lot of space, white fine sand and many waves. The sea is clean, but not very transparent. There are always a lot of people here, so it is optimal to come as early as possible and rest until 12 o'clock. Take a break and come back in the afternoon.
Extreme beach (30)
For those who are looking for more privacy, the most extreme beach of Alanya, at the entrance to the city, is suitable. There is the smallest concentration of hotels, so mostly locals and a few tourists rest. In addition, the sun sets in this part - the best photos are guaranteed.
rocky beach
If you are looking for the most transparent and clean water, then feel free to go to this beach.
It is sand and pebble, there is not much space here, but the water is simply magical. In addition, this is the best place in Alanya to dive with a mask.
Beach near the fortress (Tersane Beach)
This beach looks very beautiful from afar and there are always no waves. This attracts a lot of people here. However, due to its small size it is often crowded.
Also of the minuses - garbage. It remains from both tourists and ships (near the port). It cannot be said that there is a lot of garbage here, but unfortunately it is found. But here is a cool view of the ships, the lighthouse and alanya fortress.
Beaches behind the pier (Alanya Belediyesi Halk Plajı)
Sandy beach, but the sand is different from Kleopatra Beach. There is a good promenade with playgrounds, benches, stalls with fresh juices and corn. There are bars, showers and changing rooms, volleyball nets and even a skatepark.
Of the minuses: the first kilometer of the beach is blocked by restaurants. The approach to the beach is inconvenient, but further it gets better. The water is not as blue as the previous beaches (behind the fortress).
Most of the other beaches are remote from the center of Alanya and need to be reached by transport. Interesting to visit the bay and the port Alanya Marina. There is a great view of the sunset here, but the beach itself looks wild and sloppy.
Cleopatra beach in Alanya city, good hotels nearby
One of the best Turkish beaches Cleopatra stretches for 2,5 kilometers. Dozens of excellent hotels have been built along the coast.
Below are some good options where you can buy a tour online or book accommodation through popular services:
Riviera Hotel & Spa
4* hotel in an ideal location. Near Cleopatra Park, Starbucks and of course the entrance to the sea.
Gardenia Hotel
Another hotel next to Cleopatra Beach. Good rating and many positive reviews.
Elysee Beach Hotel
One of the few 4* hotels located right next to the water.
Xperia Saray Beach Hotel
Also 4 stars near the beach. This hotel has top ratings.
Sunprime Alanya Beach Hotel
Hotel next door to Xperia. If the budget allows, then choose one of these city hotels.
Aladdin Beach Hotel
If you are quite satisfied with 3 * and the extra 20 meters from the sea does not scare you, then a dozen more good hotels in Alanya open. During my vacation I preferred the hotel CLEOPATRA GOLDEN BEACH HOTELS.
There are several other 3-star hotels along the street:
Cleopatra Beach Hotel
This hotel has a fairly large pool, but who cares if there is a Mediterranean Sea?
Melissa Hotel
Small and cozy hotel at the entrance to the city.
Ikiz Hotel
Beach number 14 is located next door. Inexpensive, but with good reviews, hotel in the center.
2 * hotels are also found, but I recommend taking at least 3 *. The difference in price will be minimal, and the service and quality of food will be much better. For those who are looking for 5 * hotels, you will have to consider options on the other side of Alanya.
