Once upon a time, back in the second half of the 17th century, a place Podvorishki and farm Gaytunishki were one whole, and Stefan Korf owned these lands. However, almost nothing in these parts reminds us of those distant times. Today, the main attraction in Podvorishki is manor house, associated with the Rimshas and Kersnovskys.

Abandoned manor house Belarus

The building that has survived to this day dates back to 1931, and the construction of this estate was carried out by Tadeusz Kersnowski. Together with his wife Ganna, they were the owners of Podvorishki until 1939. There is an interesting assumption that the Kersnovskys never managed to complete the construction of their family estate. However, this sounds unlikely, since in an old photo of Jan Bulgak you can see the completed estate (photo taken in 1934).

Padvaryshki (Vorana region)

In its architecture, the estate reflects the popular trend of the late 19th - first half of the 20th century - classicism. The house is distinguished by a high portico on 4 columns; the building is one-story with a pitched sloping roof.

What to see in Voronovsky district?

There were no special decorative elements in the external design - everything looks quite simple and modest. It is assumed that the architectural project was carried out by Stefan Naremski.

This building is considered the last estate of the Rimsha-Kersnovskys; it is known that previously there were houses of similar architecture here. The one built by Adam Rimsa and Veronica Osten-Sacken (first half of the 19th century) burned down after the First World War in 1919.

Kersnovsky Podvorishki estate

The modern (post-war) history of the manor house in Podvorishki was connected with the breeding state farm, whose office was located within the walls of this building for many years. Now the house looks abandoned and it is difficult to say whether it is used or not.

If you are in these parts, I also recommend stopping by Church in Konvelishki.
