Traditionally, for the fifteenth time(!), a large-scale debut film medieval culture and reconstruction “Our Grunwald 2024” The event will take place at the Dudutki museum complex с 20 to 21 July, and tickets will soon be available online.
The main part of the festival will be devoted to the historical reconstruction of the legendary battle of medieval Europe, which took place on July 15, 1410 between the Teutonic Order and its allies: the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (modern Belarus) and the Kingdom of Poland.
This year, it is expected that about 400 representatives of military-historical reenactment clubs will take part in the festival, and viewers will be able to see:
- jousting tournament on foot in the "shield-sword" format;
- tournament of halberdiers and spearmen;
- archery tournament;
- tournament of knightly detachments (battles of "fives");
- tournament at arms;
- massive battles
- buhurts (storming of the castle, battle on the "bridge" and others);
- medieval maneuvers;
- "Battle of the Yards";
- professional fights in historical medieval combat (EastFeh);
- equestrian jousting tournament according to the rules of the XNUMXth century.
The central part of the historical block is a large-scale reconstruction of episodes Battle of Grunwald.
A particularly anticipated block is the “Feast after the Battle” concert program. Folk and rock bands from Belarus will perform on the festival stage on July 20; the list of artists will be announced a little later.
On the second day of the festival, July 21, a full-contact equestrian knightly tournament on solid wooden spears according to the rules of the XNUMXth century will unfold before the guests of the event. Tournaments of this level are currently held at festivals in only a few countries around the world. During fights, the main goal of the horsemen is to knock the enemy out of the saddle with a blow from a long spear or break the spear against his shield.
In addition, throughout the festival there will be workshops on medieval dances and crafts, the City of Masters fair, and interactive platforms. There will be workshops for making armor, casting jewelry, stone processing, making weapons, pottery and blacksmith workshops, and much more.
On the central square of the estateDudutki“Over the course of two days there will be dance master classes, performances by medieval musicians, theatrical performances, medieval games, performances by street theaters and fakirs.

At the location, it will be possible to get acquainted with the work of craftsmen and artisans using medieval technologies, purchase souvenirs, participate in craft workshops (blacksmithing, pottery, stone processing, gunsmithing, casting, ore smelting, weaving, etc.).
Interactive platforms. Those interested will be able to take part in medieval games, tests, learn archery and crossbow shooting, take part in a fencing master class, and visit a medieval torture chamber.
