«March 29 "Lida beer" celebrates its 146th birthday and in honor of this event opens Museum of Lida Brovar. Work on the museums has been painstakingly carried out for several years. Starting from 2018-2019, restoration work was carried out to restore the facades of the historic building of the Varka. In 2020-2021, internal repair work was going on in the museum premises. The final stage was the creation of a museum exposition using modern multimedia technologies, which, in my opinion, allowed us to harmoniously combine history and modernity. The museum opens in Lida on the territory of the factory “Lidskoe beer". Hundreds of exhibits are housed on four floors, including one-of-a-kind hundred-year-old objects and state-of-the-art equipment that reveals the stages of production, educational video installations and a tasting room. Individual objects can be touched, moved, and even tasted. The museum will receive the first visitors in April, pre-registration will be available on the website.
On the second floor there are several interactive zones where you can learn about aromas and smells, special ingredients inherent in a particular type of beer, get acquainted with the table of beer styles, various forms of beer glasses. Also, by winning the game, you will get the opportunity to create your own name label!
The third floor is dedicated directly to the history and development of Lida Pivo, its achievements, confirmed by awards and medals. Also, your attention will be presented a wide range of products of the company, including the latest innovations.
On the fourth floor, in the tasting room under the guidance of an experienced guide, you will have the opportunity to experience the beer variety of Lidskoye varieties, while gaining additional knowledge about the culture of drinking and the rules for tasting an intoxicating drink.
