Church in Minoyty
On the M11 highway, ten kilometers from Leads, there is a small village - Minoites. Usually you pass such places unnoticed, but if you are interested in wooden temples, then there is something to see here. Slightly away from the center is Church of the Heart of Jesus and St. Andrew Boboli, a bit reminiscent of Scandinavian churches.
Church in Minoyty looks pretty simple but neat. It can be seen that a major overhaul was carried out not so long ago: new windows, a roof, a bell tower was installed. The whole territory is fenced and inspected. In architectural terms, the temple can be attributed to the neoclassical style.
The exact date of construction of the church is unknown, official information could not be found. Most sources agree that the temple is young and was built at the beginning of the 20th century, between 1927-29. On old Polish maps there is a note that the church in Minoyty existed even earlier - in 1920.
The entrance group is also worthy of attention, a massive wooden door looks very authentic.
The church in Minoyty is active and open to parishioners.
