The village which today on Google and Yandex maps is designated as Red Dubrova (Chirvonaya Dubrova), used to be part of a larger estates mocranes. These lands belonged to the Radziwills for a long time, but they flourished at a later time - the 19th century. Just then the Mokrans became property Vladislav Voynilovich. Each subsequent heir to this ancient family developed the region and expanded its possessions. Unfortunately, the Voynilovichi estate has not been preserved to this day; only a small part of the former estate can be seen. Worthy of special attention ruins of the chapelfrom which the underground crypt.
The semi-circular basement with many niches - this is crypt of Voynilovichi, or even more correctly to say - underground tomb. Similar structures in Belarus very little.
Along the entire perimeter of the crypt there are niches-compartments for coffins in several tiers (they were originally 72, but part of it is completely destroyed). The complex system of arched vaults also cracks and threatens to collapse.
When Mokrany became part of the Soviet Union in 1918, the Bolsheviks took over the estate. The Voynilovichi moved to neighboring Kuntsevshchina, located literally a couple of kilometers away, and they could probably hear how their former home was being destroyed.
The wooden chapel (standing above the crypt) was burned in 1920, and all the burials were looted. Probably marauders were looking for gold and jewelry, but there was nothing much to be content with.
Partially filling up the crypt, a burial ground for livestock was built in its place.
Underground tomb of the Voyniloviches - a unique landmark of our country. It's a shame that visitors to the local store have chosen a crypt for the "burial" of used containers and garbage.
It will not be difficult to find an object, it is located almost in the very center of Krasnaya Dubrova. Landmark - tall European larch trees planted around the hill.
Next to the crypt, pay attention to the ruins of St. George's Church in 1866. Also in these parts it is worth seeing the neo-Gothic church in the village of Nagornoye и former estate in Tesnovka.
