Eindhoven is a convenient tourist hub for everyone who plans to visit the Netherlands. They fly here low-cost airlines from Vilnius and Warsaw, and prices for hotels and apartments are much lower than in other Dutch cities. In addition, if you do not have plans to stay overnight, then you can easily travel by bus or train to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and many other cities. However, I advise you to give Eindhoven a chance and still linger to see the main attractions. Recommended for overnight stay The Match Hotel located in the heart of the city of Eindhoven.
Usually finding a cheap hotel in the Netherlands during the tourist season is a mission impossible. But from time to time there are promotional offers for very good hotels. So it was in my case, the night at The Match hotel was with a 67% discount (booked through Trip).
Hotel the Match opened in 2019 and is a 4-storey building with different types of rooms. Most of which are classic rooms with two single or one large bed.
The rooms are made in such a slightly youthful style and are equipped with everything you need:
- Soft and comfortable bed.
- neat shower and toilet.
- a nice view from the window.
– working WiFi with fast internet.
For everyone in the lobby there is a small shop with ready-made food, coffee and drinks. There is also a space for recreation and leisure: a billiard table, slot machines and places to work at a computer.
Most of the city's attractions are located within walking distance from the hotel, there are also dozens of cafes and restaurants around. Another important point is the proximity of the railway station and the stop where the bus arrives from the airport.
