Near the P114 highway, at the point where the Ulla and Zapadnaya Dvina rivers converge, in a small village Ulla is Trinity Church. It was built at the very end of the 19th century. In the neighborhood there is also a later Catholic shrine - the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Also in these places there was Ull Castle the construction of which began in the 16th century, during the Livonian War.

A hundred years later, Russian troops destroyed the fortress, on which the history of the castle ended.
