In the Stolbtsy district, Minsk region, there is a village with a sonorous and atypical name - cool. Such a name could have gone to this place during the period of the Mongol-Tatar yoke, from the Turkic “kul” literally means “lake”. There is also a more modern version of the origin, from the English “Cool” (Kul) - “cool”. As expected, there was a noble estate in these parts, but almost nothing remained of its former greatness. The manor house is ruined and overgrown with weeds, and on the Internet there is not even information about the last owners. Probably the history of the estate began with the brothers Bazarevskywho rented these lands from the Radziwills. Subsequently, the couple managed the affairs here Brezovskyunder which the chapel was built in 1847.

In 1880, the entire Kul estate was mortgaged to a Moscow bank for debts. A few years later, the lands were bought by a Pole by origin - Yakov Dilenius. Under him, a distillery, a paper mill and a water mill, as well as part of the outbuildings, were built.

When the first war came, the entire enterprise in the village of Kul stopped working. And already in the Second World War it was almost completely destroyed, the little that remains can be seen in the photo above. The manor house was surrounded by a large-scale park, which was partially preserved, unlike the palace.
