In a small agricultural town called Eremichi the church of 1867 has been preserved. It is located in the Korelichi district, Grodno region, 15 km from the urban village Korelichi.
Orthodox Church of the Ascension of the Lord built from rubble stone. The shape of the church resembles a cross. At the main gate of the Church of the Resurrection, a bell tower was completed, which was also erected from raw stone.
Judging by the appearance, the architectural style inherent in the church is pseudo-Russian.
Money for the construction of the church was received from the royal treasury by order of the local government.
During the anti-religious campaign, the temple was handed over to the authorities and a warehouse was made in it. So the Ascension Church in Eremichi functioned for other purposes until 1989.
After the church was returned to the bosom of Orthodoxy and restored. The temple is active, it is quite actively visited by parishioners, services are held.
Not far from Eremichi there is the village of Pervomaisky, which is worth a visit. ruins of the manor and park complex "Obrina"belonging to the genus Kashitsey. See others interesting places in Belarus.
