Among the places that are interesting to visit in the Minsk region, I would like to highlight Priluki. And if about palace-estate of the Chapskys many have heard about church with a beautiful gate not everyone knows.
Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Priluki was built in the middle of the 19th century and dates back to 1865 year. The architect of the project was Sikorsky, and the work was carried out with the money of the Russian merchant Alexander Svechnikov.
The temple is a small stone building, rectangular in shape. During the Soviet period, the bell tower and dome were demolished. The building itself was adapted for a village club.
Despite this, the stone part of the church is well preserved. Arched pilasters and cornices even survived above the windows. There are plans to rebuild the belfry and restore the original appearance of the temple.
Since 2001, the church has been operating again, a gate was built a little later. This attraction can be viewed at Bolnichnaya street 8.
