Polessye rich in wooden temples, they are found here in almost every settlement. Not an exception were Liadovichiwhere is preserved Church of St. Paraskeva of Serbia, erected in 1796 year.
The temple originally belonged to the town Opal. The church is three-nave, rectangular, without any special decorative frills, made of wood on 2 levels. It was originally built as a Uniate, partially rebuilt in the middle of the 19th century.
The appearance of the church was significantly damaged in 2008 by an extremely strange repair. An ancient architectural monument was “ennobled” with siding and a porch with plastic doors was completed. A two-level belfry was erected in front of the temple.
The church is easy to find, located in the very center of Lyadovichi, a few kilometers from the agricultural town Bezdezh.
A little further along the H479 highway you can visit an interesting tomb in Molodovo.
