One of the attractions of Disna is церковь mid-19th century, located in the historic center of the city. Resurrection Church built in 1870 of stone, in the pseudo-Russian style traditional for that time. The dominant position in the architecture is occupied by a massive three-tiered bell tower.
During the Soviet era church in Disney closed, and the building was used for storage needs. It was returned to believers in 1989 and almost immediately local Orthodox residents began reconstruction.
If you get inside the temple, be sure to pay attention to the unique miraculous icon "Disna Hodegetria".
