Timkovichi today it is a large, but a little sad, agricultural town of the Kopyl district. The history of the place is rich and quite ancient, so in the annals these lands are mentioned at the end of the 15th century as possessions Olelkovichi. Then the Timkovichi passed to the Khodkevichs, and after that to the Radziwills, under whom a new estate was built (19th century). Almost nothing has survived from that estate, it is even difficult to find the location on the map. The only building that probably belongs to the patrimony of the Radzwills in Timkovichi is brovar early 20th century.
Like most similar buildings in Belarus, the former distillery is abandoned. His condition is better than that of many fellows (for example brovar in Chernikhovo or distillery Obukhovichi), but this building has few prospects.
In addition to the brovar itself, there are several more outbuildings and a large alcohol store.
Brovar is located a little away from the center of the agro-town. If you go from the place where the church used to be, then you need to move along street of the 17th border detachment and move to Avtobazovskaya. Below is a point on the map:
In Timkovichi you can also see the old gate-bell tower at the church of St. Nicholas.
