Old Mouse - a small village ten kilometers from Baranovichi. Notable for the fact that once stood here Chodkiewicz castle, destroyed in the middle of the 17th century by Russian troops. No more attempts were made to rebuild this fortress, and earthen ramparts remained in that place. However, Old Mouse's story doesn't end there. Another interesting object in these parts - abandoned brovar and alcohol receiversurviving from pan times.

Very little is known about this complex. Judging by the architecture of the buildings, they belong to the beginning of the 20th century. The names and surnames of the owners are not mentioned anywhere. In some sources there is information that the brovar was built by representatives kind of Iskritskybut did not find any evidence.

The distillery in the village of Staraya Mysh is located a little apart from residential buildings, next to the Myshanka River. The linden alley leading to the buildings suggests that there was also a manor house somewhere here.

The buildings are in very good condition, despite the abandoned appearance of the site. There is an advertisement on the Internet for the sale of the entire complex (posted in 2018).

To get to these parts, you need to drive several kilometers from the agricultural town of Novaya Mysh along the P108 highway and turn right following the signs. Brovar will be at the very end of the village, below there is a point on the map.

Not far from the Old Mouse, you can visit Stolovichi, where Temple of the Knights of Malta и neo-gothic church of 1911.
