Peter and Paul Church
An interesting example of wooden churches can be seen in the village Bolshie Zhukhovichi. Church of Saints Peter and Paul erected in 1745 and is the main attraction of these places.
These lands began to belong to the Radzwills since 1568. The wooden temple was built at the expense and by decree Karl Radziwill.
In the middle of the 19th century, in 1849, a stone bell tower was built to the right of the church.
The agricultural town of Bolshie Zhukhovchi belongs to the Grodno region and is located very close to Mir Castle.
There is another temple a few kilometers away - in the village of Malye Zhukhovichi.
