Caps instead of money. Unusual charitable action to help disabled people in Belarus!
A new social project has started in Minsk: its organizers offer to take part in the action and help people in need with the help of plastic caps! The partners of the project "New life in exchange for caps" were a music label"MZ production"and the shops hard store и good shop.
More than 550 children and adults in Belarus have disabilities and need additional funding, as state payments for treatment and rehabilitation are not enough. At the same time, the country's landfills are annually replenished with tons of plastic caps, the production cost of which is almost $800.
Participants of the campaign can collect plastic caps and take them to special branded containers that are already installed in retail facilities, educational and educational institutions and other public places. At the end of the action, the collected caps will be recycled and the money received for recycling will be used to purchase medical preparations and equipment for sick children and adults.
The organizers of the project were inspired by foreign experience in this area. Own the campaign starts in Turkey, where a student launched a campaign to collect caps to buy a wheelchair for a child. After 3 months, the stroller was bought with the money received from the delivery of plastic.
The project "New life in exchange for caps" is already operating in Belarus. Special containers for collecting plastic caps are installed in universities and schools, in cafes and bars, in offices and entrances of residential buildings.
The organizers already have an agreement with a plastic processing plant, in addition, a warehouse for temporary storage of collected recyclables was found free of charge. At the moment, about 10 tons of caps have been collected. Collecting caps will help not only people with disabilities, but also nature. The results of the campaign for the collection of caps.
